Miles: Intense young producer at the BBC; if he wasn’t so neurotic, he’d be a nice guy Leslie: snobby BBC announcer, a la George Sanders; Loathes cowboy songs Clive: Radio personality - THE “Saltey’s Fish ‘n’ Chips Man”; considers himself a great “h’act-or” Mabel: Tex’s Tour Manager; Behind-the-scenes wallflower; once she steps up, she blossoms Stan: sound effects man; like Buster Keaston, this shell shocked vet is a man of few words. Description: Whoa, Britannia! Panic at the BBC! The year is 1944, America’s favorite singing cowboy, Tex Riley and his troupe are late for a special broadcast at the BBC in London. Out of desperation, Mabel, their tour manager, and Miles, the frantic young producer, grab whomever they can—a snobby announcer, an amiable sound man, and a passing soap opera actor—slap them into costume, hand them scripts (after all, it’s radio!) and shove them in front of the studio audience. ELDER: F, 60s, Black, WOMAN'S Spirit Guide, Frustrated with WOMAN'S inability to commit to her true calling of her being a writer. Aware of WOMAN'S dilemma, she intervenes. BAYUK: F, Teens, Black, Spirit Guide sent by ELDER to WOMAN to assist and lead her on a journey to find her rhythm. MS. BONURA: F, 50s, White, Teacher/Counselor and everyone's "Second Mom" at St. Rose de Lima School. CELESTE MARIGNY: F, 40s, Black/Creole, Founding Member of St. Rose de Lima Parish. SYLVANIE BLANC: F, 20s, White, French, Founding Member of St. Rose de Lima Parish. FELICIE CAILLOUX: F, 30s, Black, Educator and Wife of Captain Andre Cailloux. ANDRE CAILLOUX: M, 30s, Black, Captain and Civil War Hero. MAMA J: F, 60s, Black, Spirit Guide.
