The Improbable Walk brought to you by Lisa Pasold, the writer and performer of The Nix performed at the Infringe Fest 2019. Improbable Walk is a series of guided Sunday walks in New Orleans, each exploring a different way we experience the world, at a human pace. The first walks will be inspired by one of the five senses--smell, taste, touch, hearing, or sight--and will take place in City Park. Feb 2- 16 at 10am FREE EVENT

The Uninvited EXTENDED presented by Goat in the Road. An immersive historical drama set in 1874 and follows nine characters who live in, or orbit around, the Gallier House (1132 Royal St.). Running through March 21st at the Gallier House in the French Quarter. $35

Something Rotten! Set in 1595, this hilarious smash hit tells of the story of Nick and Nigel Bottom, two brothers desperate to write a hit play. When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing,, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical! With its heart on its ruffled sleeve and sequins in its soul​​. Running January 17- February 9. $20-$65

Mother Courage and Her Children Ntozake Shange (FOR COLORED GIRLS) adapted Bertolt Brecht’s classic drama in 1980, transposing the action from Europe during the Thirty Years War to the American Southwest after the Civil War. Mother Courage struggles to survive the war by profiting from it but ends up paying the ultimate cost. Running January 24- February 8 at Southern Rep. $31-$48

African American Women Affecting the Arts Five African American women will discuss what they think about the state of contemporary art(s) in New Orleans. This discussion will include consideration of the state of visual arts, music, literature, and the performing arts in this region. This conversation will also consider the politics of race, artistic agency, and artistic opportunity. Feb 7 at Rogers Memorial Chapel FREE

Peep Show Fundraiser presented by Intramural Theatre Company. All funds will go directly towards Intramural Theater's next devised piece, which is slated to premiere in late March at the Backyard Ballroom. Feb 9 $10-$15

Brecht Fest 2 celebrating the German playwright and poet Bertolt Brecht on February 10, the anniversary of his birth. With the music of Kurt Weill and Hans Eisler. Scheduled to appear: David C. Symons, Harry Mayronne, Lydia Stein, Bremner Duthie, Dr. Sick, Chris Wecklein, Karen Kunkel, Lisa Pasold, Sarah Brecht, Dayna Kurtz, Stoo Odom, Robert Schaefer, Ratty Scurvics, Pandora Gastelum, and the Salt Wives. Brechtfest 2 is a benefit for Innocence Project New Orleans. Performing at the Twighlight Room (Theater behind the Allways) Suggested donation: $15-30

The Vagina Monologues This award-winning play, directed by Kesha McKey, is based on V-Day Founder/playwright Eve Ensler's interviews with more than 200 women. With humor and grace the show celebrates women’s sexuality and strength. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit nonprofits. Feb 15-16 at Ashe Powerhouse Theatre $10-$20

Vaude d'Gras: Baroquen Circus a dazzling theatrical performance that transports the viewer into Carnival’s past. The show lights up the stage at the Marigny Opera House featuring an eclectic entourage of the finest performing artists in the Crescent City. Witness tantalizing and unique performances by LadyBEAST, Franky Canga, Clay Mazing, Sam Aquatic and the fabulous Gogo McGregor. Feb 21-24. $25-$45
