Give to Black-Led Companies This Give NOLA Day
GiveNOLA Day is a 24-hour event hosted by the Greater New Orleans Foundation to inspire people to give generously to nonprofits making our region stronger, creating a thriving community for all. Normally we would do a round-up of theatre and dance non-profits to encourage our readers to support the arts community. This year we will be focusing on lifting up black and brown-led organizations. As an anti-racist, partially black-owned company we stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement. We say the names George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Abrey, Tony McDade and so many before them. Black lives matter. Black stories matter. Black voices matter. Black art matters. Black lives matter. It is now the time for our black community to hold stage, to be at the front. Please donate and support the New Orleans black community.
