By Any Scenes Necessary: King Lear actors and long-form improvisers will come together to ridiculously recreate William Shakespeare's KING LEAR on stage, without a script. The show will go on BY ANY SCENE NECESSARY. At New Orleans Shakespeare Festival July 17. $15​

Clean Squad: An Antiseptic Adventure presented by Prescription Joy an intrepid team of cleaning supplies: the savvy Spray Bottle, a grouchy but wizened Uncle Sponge, and the mighty Detergent, as they battle against the Evil Germ! Embrace YR Weird This one-night only show offers a sequin-filled and inspirational perspective on how we can spread joy. Part TEDtalk, part puppet show, part dance party! July 19 at the Twilight Room behind the Allways Lounge. $18-$30​

The Food Of Love Leslie Castay reprises last season’s sold out cabaret evening of songs inspired by Shakespeare. Music Director Jefferson Turner and special guest Clint Johnson.​ July 21 at New Orleans Shakespeare Fest $20-$30

Hamlet at New Orleans Shakespeare Festival Shakespeare's most famous tragedy, the tale of Hamlet, the Prince of Denmark coming home to avenge his father's death. Running July 12-28th at Lupin Theatre, Tulane. $20-$30​

Knuffle Bunny A Musical based on Mo WIlliams children's book Knuffle Bunny. A Family Show June 12-July 21at Southern Rep. $10-$15​

Til Sunday the story of a young mother coming from Cuba to New Orleans with her daughter in search of a better life. Running July 18-28 at Southern Rep. $25-$40​

TRB's Chill Summer Announcement Party​ The Radical Buffoons Theatre Collective is throwing a summer party and will be announcing their 2019-2020 season as well as season auditions at the Urban South Brewery. A Family Friendly Event. July 21. FREE EVENT

Turn It Into Smoke A new comedy about two couples signing guardianship papers in case the older couple's plane goes down when unexpected guests arrive. Running July 18-Aug 1 at Mt. Olivet Church. $20-$25

Waterworld: The Musical hilarious live interactive theater experience, swimming pool-based musical adapted from the 1995 post-apocalyptic cult favorite/flop movie Waterworld. Running July 18-20 at Hidden Paradise Art House. $20
