Goat in the Road's PLAY/WRITE SHOWCASE

One of our favorite theatre events of the year is going virtual! Goat in the Road's Play/Write Showcase features 14 student-written plays presented by professional theatre and dance companies.

In the 2019-20 school year, they worked with 350 students from: Homer A. Plessy Community School, St. Mary's Academy, New Orleans, International School of Louisiana, and Young Audiences Charter School At Kate Middleton.

This year’s Showcase will feature 14 plays with virtual performances by:

Goat in the Road Ensemble, Intramural Theater, KM Dance Project & Dancing Grounds, Live Girls, No Dream Deferred, The Radical Buffoons, and Vagabond Inventions.

SORRY WRONG NUMBER Radio Plays Presented by Le Petit

First in a series of radio plays, Sorry, Wrong Number will debut Friday, May 22 at 7:30p. Featuring Leslie Castay as Mrs. Elbert Stevenson and Tracey Collins as the Telephone Operator. Sorry, Wrong Number is the story of a bedridden woman who hears two men plotting a murder over crossed telephone wires. Will she be able to stop the gruesome deed before it is carried out?



Rough Draughts is Back!

The NOLA Project's FREE monthly play reading series is back and streaming in your home! This month's installment features OREGON TRAIL 2 by AJ Allegra. Cantankerous narrator Matt is in danger of losing his General Store to the greedy Samuel Walton. Can the Bootsmeyers make the trek BACK to Missouri in time to save the day? Will the family suffer any more casualties? Does anybody really WANT this sequel???
